Celebrity Chef Aaron Sanchez New Menu at House of Blues – Giveaway (closed) #CrossroadsHOB

Any viewer of the Food Network is familiar with Chef Aaron Sanchez. If there is one Chef I would want to have cook a meal for me it is him. He is always making me hungry with his description and flavor profiles.

I had the chance to experience the new menu recently rolled out at the House of Blues in Anaheim. Chef Aaron Sanchez partnered with House of Blues to create new, exciting twists on American Classics. The selections are sure to make your mouth water.

My lunch, courtesy of House of Blues, was filled with flavor from beginning to end. We started with 2 appetizers – our choices were the Spinach and Artichoke Dip and the Crossroads Chicken Quesadilla. My husband dove right in to the Spinach and Artichoke dip. The creaminess was amazing. One great feature was the way it was served – in a small hot skillet. That made the dip stay hot while it was being devoured! It comes with a side of pita chips. Delicious! The Chicken Quesadilla with its scrumptious tomatillo dipping sauce had so much punch in every bite. Cheese, poblano chilies, red peppers and onions combined for the perfect mouth satisfaction. I could have made a meal just from the appetizers!

Our entrée choices were:

St. Louis Ribs – rack of ribs rubbed with Adobo spice and smoked tomato BBQ sauce. They were so tender, the meat fell right off the bone.

Juicy Lucy – Angus beef and applewood bacon patty stuffed with cheese. Wow this burger was tops. My hubby loved the juiciness of the patty. He was impressed with the cucumber salad also on the plate.

During our meal – we had the best service! Our server Phillipe was so well informed about each menu item. He made quite a few recommendations. He also gave us a peek at the in house concert stage. After all – House of Blues is huge for music! Denise, the manager was very attentive too. She made us feel so welcome. We also chatted with the in house Chef. He stopped by to make a table visit to see how everything was going. We noticed he made the rounds to many of the tables. I really enjoyed talking with him about the different menu items.

We could not leave without a decadent dessert. The Triple Chocolate Cheesecake, OMG it was Heaven on a plate. My hubby is not a big sweet eater but he does love cheesecake. He thought this was the best ever! He has already made plans to come back just for dessert. It was a hard decision for me between the Key Lime Pie, the Bourbon Bread Pudding or the Chocolate Mousse. I chose the Chocolate Mousse. I thought it was really good but it could not beat the Triple Chocolate Cheesecake.

The new menu created by Chef Aaron Sanchez is now serving at House of Blues dining locations. There are several locations nationwide. Find a location near you. The menu has so much variety, you will find a taste for everyone.
