Which one to munch first? The Belgian Chocolate Chunk of course. You can’t tempt me twice with double chocolate anything. The taste was deep chocolate and pretty rich. It would be perfect served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. This is a chocolate lover’s flavor. I love the deep dark taste.

The Peanut Butter Brownie was my favorite. It had the perfect blend of chocolate goodness with the salty peanut butter flavor. I loved it paired with a nice hot cup of tea. The blend of the two flavors together worked in delicious harmony.

For a traditional brownie – you can’t beat the Fudge Walnut. Lots of walnuts dot the top and inside of this scrumptious morsel. It has all the soft gooey chew a brownie should have with the crunch of a walnuts. Super good!

My hubby loved the Cheesecake Brownie because he loves anything cheesecake. The cheesecake topping is creamy, rich and sweet like a cheesecake should be! I think he ate most of the topping off the brownie and left the chocolatey brownie part for me. (I am not complaining!)

Those of you who like Blondies or lighter brownies, the Butterscotch and the White Chocolate Macadamia Blondes will not disappoint. For me, a brownie has to be deep dark chocolate although both of the blonde flavors were pretty good!

I love using my iPad. My favorite time of the day is just before bedtime while sitting in bed. I catch up on the news, check out the new apps, play a few games and more. In my city, it is mandatory that we recycle. We have a separate bin just for the recyclables with an extensive list of what is considered recyclable items. Some weeks we have more recyclable refuse than regular trash. That is a good thing! Our city uses the funds generated from the recycles to fund city functions and more!

My method of collecting the recyclables is a trash can under the sink. It fills up pretty quick and I am using trash bag liners in the can. I hate having that extra waste but at least the bag is also recyclable.

Rubbermaid is making it handy to recycle. The Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler hides in your cupboard attached to a cabinet door for hidden storage. The unit can be directly attached with the hooks provided. It holds a lot of stuff. the 5 gallon bag will hold up to thirty-six 12 ounce cans. It is big enough to collect milk jugs too! My recyclables are mostly cans so it holds a lot of them! When it is full the tote bag is easily removed an carried to the larger recycle bin. It is light enough to carry myself although I still tell Hubby is needs to be taken out.

Even the Rubbermaid Hidden recycler is made from recyclable material! Way to make it full circle Rubbermaid! The leak proof bag is machine washable for keeping it fresh! I love the convenience of having it hidden. No more collecting stuff on the counter!

I enjoy listening to Jewel. I have been a fan for quite some time. Jewel sounds unique and soothing to me. With the birth of her baby Kase Townes Murray, she was inspired to create a lovely children’s album. Jewel  – The Merry Goes Round.

This delightful CD features 16 upbeat tunes perfect for anytime listening. There are stories told in the songs as well as catchy tunes all will love singing along with.

A few of my favorites are:

Bucky the Bull – a bit of a Spanish music flare adds to the fun.

Sara Swan Sleepy Head – she does not want to get out of bed.

Supermarket Song – so much to see at the grocery store.

Each of the 16 songs is a joy as Jewel does best! There are lots of musical treats for the ears with many instruments. I really enjoyed listening and I can’t get one of the tunes out of my head!

Spring Break is here or almost here. How about keeping your brain active with puzzles! Are you good at puzzles? How about Logic Puzzles? Those brain teasers that challenge kids and adults alike. Stephen P. Ryder, aka “The Puzzle Baron,” founder and editor of the Puzzle Baron network of websites (PuzzleBaron.com), has created Logic Puzzles Volume 2. This book contains 200 never before released grid-based puzzles!

What is a Logic Puzzle? The type of puzzle in Logic Puzzles is the logic grid. In each puzzle you are given a series of categories, and an equal number of options within each category. Each option is used once and only once. Your goal is to figure out which options are linked together based on a series of given clues. Each puzzle has only one unique solution, and each can be solved using simple logical processes (i.e. educated guesses are not required).

Maybe logic puzzles have you stumped – Try your hand at the brain teasing number game Sudoku. I actually find this numbers game fun and challenging. I sure go through a lot of pencil erasers. Puzzle Baron’s Sudoku book contains 400 puzzles from easy to difficult. It can keep you seeing numbers for hours.

I am more of a visual learner, my brain likes to look at pretty pictures. Here is a fun book everyone can enjoy – The Complete Idiot’s Guide to Picture Puzzles Volume 2. Inside is a treasure trove of full color photo fun. Find the differences featuring more than 100 puzzles. Unscramble puzzles to find which one is different. If you get stuck you can check the answer key to get a hint. You need sharp eyes to find the differences in these gorgeous photos. Grab a cool drink and play awhile.

The flavor is mild with a blend of spices including cilantro. Delicious. For a more traditional flavor I tried the Tomato Soup with Garden Vegetables. I love this soup for a much lighter meal. The tomato flavor was just right with lots of tender vegetables. I like the calorie content too – just 110 calories!

My Hubby loved the  Angus Beef Steak Chili with Beans. He loves anything made with beef so this is a rich hearty chili was a must for him to try.  The beef is tender, the tomato base is perfectly seasoned with red beans plus green chilis. He loved it and wants me to get more!

Kettle Cuisine can be purchased at select grocers nationwide. The soups are usually found in the Natural foods frozen section. In my area I can find them at two of the local healthy markets.
